Mental Health Awareness Training

Mental Health Qualifications

With 1 in 4 people experiencing a mental health concern each year, it is fantastic that mental wellbeing, and particularly mental health awareness training is becoming part of the conversation.

In a work environment it is important not to simply be able to respond to a mental health crisis, with so called mental health first aiders, it is important and more effective, like any health and safety management, to make mental wellbeing part of normal day-to-day operations, in effect to try to be proactive and not reactive.

Duncan Spencer, Head of Advice and Practice at IOSH, recently said:

"IOSH calls for a ‘prevention first’ approach".
