Who is this for?
This qualification is for learners who want to begin a carreer within the Surveillance industry, or diversify their current abilites into this specialist occupation.
Pre-Requisites:
Learners are required to be aged 18 years and over.
Hold a full UK driving Licence with no more than 3 penalty points at the time of participating in the learning.
This qualification will require learners to participate in activities including walking and driving, it is the learner’s responsibility to ensure they are able to so safely. If the learner is unable to meet this requirement, an alternative surveillance qualification may be more appropriate e.g.:
o QNUK Level 3 Award for Foot Surveillance Operations (RQF)
o QNUK Level 3 Award for Vehicle Surveillance Operations (RQF)
It is recommended (but not essential) that learners hold a Level 3 Close Protection qualification to help underpin the knowledge within this qualification.
Assessment
The method of assessment for this qualification is by Multiple Choice Examination (MCQ) ,completion of a workbook containing several tasks to complete and products of work alongside assessor practical observations.
As this qualification is regulated in England, the assessments are conducted in English. It is important that learners have reasonable abilities in English language to have a fair opportunity to being successful.

- QNUK Level 3 Award in Understanding Security Management (RQF)
- QNUK Level 3 Award for the First Person on Scene (International) (RQF)
