Who is this for?
This qualification is for learners who work in a front line role ensuring the security and safety of media teams. It is intended to provide the baseline skills and knowledge to be able to operate safely in a range of environments and develop careers further by building upon these basic fundamentals.
Pre-Requisites:
This qualification is aimed at learners 21 years and over.
Learners must have achieved and be able to provide a copy of their certificate for a Level 2 Conflict Management qualification (QN accepts Level 2 Conflict Management units embedded within SIA licence linked qualifications as equivalent)
It is recommended (but not essential) that learners hold a Level 3 Close Protection qualification to help underpin the knowledge within this qualification.
Assessment
The method of assessment for this qualification is by Multiple Choice Examination (MCQ) and completion of a workbook containing several tasks to complete and products of work.
As this qualification is regulated in England, the assessments are conducted in English. It is important that learners have reasonable abilities in English language to have a fair opportunity to being successful.
