Who is this for? This qualification is developed to prepare learners working with crowds in places of public assembly who wish to gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles of crowd risk analysis and crowd safety.
Pre-Requisites: This qualification is available to those over 18 years.
Due to the language of the assessment, it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of the English language in order to understand the assessment and to undertake the recommended assessment methods.
Learners should hold qualification/s in spectator safety or crowd management at level 3-4; and/or hold relevant experience in the sector.
Learners need to be able to access to occupational experience in the subject matter to be able to apply the skills contained within this qualification and be able to undertake the assessments.
Learners will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to study at Level 5 (an academic style of writing using a recognised system of referencing)
Progression route: Learners may progress onto the following qualifications:
- QNUK Level 3 Award in Security Management (RQF)
- QNUK Level 2 Award in Behavioural Detection Analysis (RQF)
