Who is this for? The Ligature incidents qualification is for first aiders working in sectors where the risk of dealing with incidents involving ligatures is more significant. These environments may include young offenders institutions, prisons, or care homes for young people. 

Pre-Requisites: This qualification is available to those over 18 years. Learners should be at least a level 2 literacy or equivalent

Progression route: Learners may progress onto the following qualifications:

  • QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid in the Workplace (RQF)
  • QNUK Level 3 Award in Workplace Risk Assessment (RQF)
