Who is this for? This qualification is for those that require additional training in basic life support and anaphylaxis. Many attendees are those working with children such as childminders and nursery staff, however the qualification can also be used by staff working in Doctors and Dentists practice as part of annual training.
The qualification has also been designed as the perfect add-on to standard first aid courses.
Pre-Requisites: This qualification is available to those over 16 years. Candidates should be at least a level 1 numeracy and literacy or equivalent
Progression route: Learners may progress onto the following qualifications:
- QNUK Level 3 Award in First aid at Work (QCF)
- QNUK Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (QCF)
